Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA)

  • Ohio Housing Finance Agency, or OHFA, has many programs that can accommodate differently individuals in various stages of their life.

  • OHFA has programs for first-time home buyers or previous homeowners. They also have down payment assistance and closing cost assistance programs available to qualified buyers. Many of their programs can be combined to give the buyer additional assistance with purchasing a home.

Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA)

  • The Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA) offers down payment assistance and/or closing cost assistance to qualified borrowers in the state of Pennsylvania.

  • The program offers different assistance programs depending on your specific circumstances and if you are purchasing a home in a targeted county or area.

  • PHFA may be used with FHA, USDA, VA, and Conventional financing. You are not required to be a first-time home buyer to qualify.

Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA)

  • Connecticut Housing Finance Authority, or CHFA, a housing agency that provides many affordable programs to help Connecticut buyers with their dream of homeownership.

  • CHFA has programs designed to fit many scenarios to qualified borrowers. They have options for down payment assistance, low mortgage insurance, and have a rehabilitation program for properties that need some improving.

Michigan State Housing Development
Authority (MSHDA)

  • The Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSDHA) offers a variety of products to help both first-time home buyers and move-up buyers, achieve homeownership. MSDHA offers generous purchase financing options to aid with making down payments, to help make
    homeownership affordable.

  •  MSDHA offers several affordable product options to help finance the purchase of your home. MSDHA offers Fixed Rate loans that are eligible to be used in conjunction with FHA, VA, USDA, or Conventional financing. If you are a first-time home buyer or are looking to purchase your next home, MSDHA has a product for you.

Florida Housing Finance Corporation (FHFC)

  • Florida Housing Finance Corporation is a housing agency that provides many affordable programs to help Floridians with their dream of homeownership.

  • Florida’s first mortgage programs used in conjunction with their down payment assistance programs have many options to fit various types of qualified home buyers and can be used with FHA, USDA, VA or Conventional loans.

North Carolina Housing Finance Agency (NCHFA)

  • The North Carolina Housing Finance Agency (NCHFA) offers affordable housing opportunities to North Carolinian’s to help make the dream of homeownership a reality. NCHFA has assisted thousands of North Carolinians with the purchase of their homes with their generous purchase
    financing options, competitive interest rates, an array of home buyer resources. NCHFA’s down payment assistance programs are designed to help low-to-moderate income home buyers achieve the dream of homeownership while making the home buying process as simple
    as possible.

Maryland Mortgage Program (MMP)

  • Maryland Mortgage Program (MMP) is administered by the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD).

  • MMP offers multiple different down payment assistance, closing cost assistance, and grant programs. These programs may be used with FHA, USDA, VA, and Conventional financing.

  • MMP programs are offered to buyers who either have not owned a home within three years or buyers that are purchasing homes within defined target areas.
